Rails is a series of handmade cut outs depicting the rail lines in and around Paris. I was inspired by the organic form of the railway network and created this series of installation pieces. The work is made of fabriano paper, handcut to evoke fragility, it considers the current socio-economic situation of the french rail network and considers its potential privatisation in the future.
