Lines that Meet
As part of this project, Susan Leen has been Artist in Residence at Siamsa Tire from the 19th of September to the 29th of October.
Lines that Meet examines place-making and the boundaries implied therein, be they physical, psychological or imaginary. Working with Ireland's new communities, this exhibition looks at social integration and connection to place through the language of cartography.
The exhibition includes new work referencing the local region and it's particular geography as well as work created in collaboration with participants from the Tralee International Resource Centre.
2016, in addition to being the centenary of the 1916 Rising marks 800 years of Tralee. This project presents another view, and another perspective, of Kerry's County Town.
