This installation forms part of a body of work created in DCU as part of my artist residency.
Percival Spencer’s parchute jump from Clonturk Park gives the installation its title. These drawings on apogee silk reference the materiality of the parachute and the elements of air and wind.This work was made in response to historical geographer Ruth Mc Manus’ research on the Drumcondra area.
